How HOCl Works
Unlike bleach (sodium hypochlorite), which carries a negative charge that is repelled by negatively charged bacteria, HOCl is electrically neutral. This allows it to penetrate bacterial cell walls directly and destroy proteins, DNA, and lipids through oxidation — killing bacteria from the inside out. It acts faster, at lower concentrations, and leaves nothing harmful behind.
